HISTORY OF THE COMPANY
KENFOOD S.A. has been involved in the food production since 1996. The main production line involves premixes and additives for bakery, confectionery, macaroni, puff pastry making etc.
The proprietors and managing directors are Leonidas and Panayiotis Pierakeas.
By following the principles of the continuous high quality-batch to batch uniformity-good prices-immediate service KENFOOD has gained the trust of its customers and accomplished to put its stump by creating a network of distributors throughout Greece and to expand sales in other foreign countries.
The strict production process, compliance with all HACCP as well as the principles and the modern equipment,
are the main factors that gave KENFOOD the precedence and the ability to achieve the optimum final result.
The company serves its customers at any time of the day, in any part of Greece, always able to offer an invaluable tool: The Know-How.
Pursuing innovation in the production and in the range of products and having always in mind customer services, the company plans its future steps, aiming always at the development and the progress.
KENFOOD’S products are being made in the company’s privately owned modern unit, in a total area of 23.500sq.m, in Ampelochori Viotia. In addition to the production and storage section, our facilities include: a new product research center, a quality control center and training and demonstration area. The company’s facilities also include offices and distribution center in Athens.
The thorough training of the staff, the high standards in the selection of raw materials, the strict hygiene conditions, the constantly checked temperature of the production and storage department guarantee the steady high quality of the products.
KENFOOD is certified with ISO 9001-2000 and ISO 22000-2005 by TUV AUSTRIA.
It also has production facilities approved for milk and dairy products (08.2306) from the Hellenic Food Authority, in accordance with regulation 853/2004.
With faith in our principals, we are bound to continue being worthy of our expectations.
